I am a native New Englander born and raised in New Hampshire. Prior to our move to North Carolina in 2017, my wife Maddie and I had been living in Danbury, CT for the past 27 years. Prior to feeling a call to serve in pastoral ministry about 14 years ago, I worked at a large multinational Home, Food, and Personal Care company in Supply Chain Management. In February of 2011, Maddie and I joined a group from our church and went on a trip to Israel. It was on a boat in the middle of the Sea of Galilee that God finally grabbed me and said enough was enough, now is the time, I want you in pastoral ministry. So, after sharing my wakeup call with my pastor, he told me that he felt the very same thing. I began my studies toward a Master of Divinity degree that fall of 2011 at Drew Theological School, and graduated in May 2014 with a Masters of Divinity degree. I have been serving in pastoral ministry since 2011 and I draw my strength from Scripture, Tradition, Reason and Experience. I try my best to make every message Biblically based and relevant.
I have been very active in prison ministry for 27 years and served as the Chair of Kairos Prison Ministry of Connecticut from June 2005-May of 2011. I have also been very active in the church for the past 26 years serving in both local and global outreach, and in small group ministries.
I have been married to my beautiful wife Maddie for 25 years who is a physician with VA in Hickory. We both enjoy our four-legged children; Bella our Lab, and Grace, Guy, and Leo our three cats. In my spare time, I love sports of all kinds, sing, play guitar and spend time gardening! We both enjoy traveling and visiting new places.
